Dr. Professor Ramon B. Gustilo: Affects the whole body. But of course, they can cause pressure on blood vessels, organs and nerves, leading to pain, or stimulate excessive hormone production.
- If not detected early, breast tumors will grow, invade and destroy nearby tissues, and metastasize to surrounding lymph nodes. Cancer cells also travel through the lymph and blood systems to other areas of the body
- Early stage breast cancer: breast tumors are very small and grow silently for several years before being large enough to detect. The 5-year survival rate if treated at an early stage is about 96%.
- Breast cancer develops: the tumor spreads in the breast to the skin, nipples, structures around the breast to lymph nodes in the armpit, neck or chest. At this time, the 5-year survival rate and treatment are much more difficult and expensive.

+ Changes in shape or size of the breast.
+ Breast pain in a specific area.
+ Nipple changes such as bleeding, inversion, or crusting of the nipple. One nipple suddenly looks different from the other.
Symptoms of fibroids include:
+ Heavy menstruation or long menstrual cycles
Irregular menstrual cycle, Bleeding between periods
+ Pelvic pain and pressure
+ Frequent urination, Constipation, Lower back pain

+ Tumors form on or in the ovaries, have an outer shell, and contain fluid inside. Ovarian cysts can be as small as 3-8cm or so large that they fill the entire abdomen.
Depending on the type of ovarian cyst and the size of the tumor, it causes different symptoms. Some types of cysts, such as dermoid cysts, often have few symptoms and are only discovered incidentally during cesarean section or pelvic imaging for another reason.
Small cysts are often asymptomatic or have vague symptoms. Sometimes cysts cause bleeding. Larger cysts will cause symptoms:
- Pain in the lower abdomen and pelvis
- Pain during intercourse
- Menstrual disorders: long menstrual cycles, short menstrual cycles, delayed menstruation, amenorrhea
- Feel the protruding tumor in the pelvis
Need emergency help immediately if symptoms include:
- Sudden, sharp pain in the lower abdomen with moderate to severe levels.
- With or without nausea, vomiting or fever.
- With or without signs of shock: cold skin, rapid breathing, dizziness, weakness, fainting.
