— Dr. Janus Ong, a doctor tells his patients and all of us that the liver accounts for 90% of a person's health. Why is that?

The liver is a very important organ for the human body because it is responsible for performing many important functions:

The liver processes and removes toxic substances from the blood, including drugs and alcohol, by converting these substances into less toxic or easily eliminated forms.
